Testers who requested from this site can join here. Android is live on Google Play (APK fallback below). iPhone testers join with Apple’s free TestFlight app.

Join on iPhone or iPad

StatusNearMe for iOS is a TestFlight beta (not the App Store yet). Use the same Apple Account you use on that iPhone. TestFlight is free.

Join iOS beta Get TestFlight

Open the Join button on your iPhone (iOS 16 or later). There is no invitation code. Do not use Redeem in TestFlight — tap the Join link instead. If TestFlight is not installed, Apple will send you to the App Store first.

How to join

On an iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 / iPadOS 16 or later, install TestFlight from the App Store (search “TestFlight” — publisher Apple). Older devices (e.g. iPad mini 4) cannot join.
Come back to this page on the same device and tap Join iOS beta (or open https://testflight.apple.com/join/arqTBQHT in Safari). You do not need a redeem / invitation code.
TestFlight opens StatusNearMe. Tap Accept, then Install.
When it finishes, tap Open (or find StatusNearMe on your Home Screen — the TestFlight orange dot means it’s a beta).
Accept the User Agreement, then try Near me, search, or voice. Location and mic are optional — iOS will ask only when you use those features.
New betas install through TestFlight, not the App Store. Problems? Email hotmod.ca@gmail.com with iPhone model, iOS version, and a screenshot if you can.

Already installed StatusNearMe over USB? TestFlight is a different listing. Keep the USB build or replace it with the TestFlight app — they can sit side by side until you delete one.

Request a TestFlight invite

Use the Apple Account email on your iPhone so the invite arrives on the right device. Don’t send Status Card numbers.

Requests go to the StatusNearMe team. We’ll email a TestFlight invite, or this page will show Join iOS beta for anyone on the site.

Android open testing

Join on Android

Google Play open testing is live. Become a tester, then install StatusNearMe from Play. An official APK remains available below if you cannot use Play.

Play opt-in requires a Google login — that is normal. After you become a tester, open the listing and install.

Before you install (Android APK)

Android only for this package. Use a phone or tablet (not a PC browser install). iPhone testers use TestFlight above — not this APK.
Prefer Google Play — join open testing and install from the store when you can. This APK is a fallback if you cannot use Play.
Uninstall older StatusNearMe first if you installed an earlier debug beta (beta.3 / beta.4 or “debug” builds). This package is release-signed; Android will refuse to update over a different signature. Settings → Apps → StatusNearMe → Uninstall, then continue below.
Only download from statusnearme.com/beta/. Allowing “unknown apps” means you trust this site and your browser — not every APK on the internet.

Install steps (Android APK)

On your Android phone, open this page in Chrome (recommended) or your usual browser.
Tap Download for the current beta APK (or Latest beta). Wait until the download finishes. You may see a download bar or a notification.
Open the file:
- Tap the download notification, or
- Open the Files / My Files / Downloads app and tap the StatusNearMe-….apk file.
If Android says the app is blocked or from an unknown source:
- Tap Settings (or “Configure”) on that message.
- Allow install from this browser or from Files (wording varies by brand): e.g. “Install unknown apps” → Chrome / Files → allow.
- Go back and open the APK again.
Tap Install. When it finishes, tap Open (or find StatusNearMe in your app drawer).
If the app says a newer beta is required, return here, download the latest APK, and install again (replace the old one).

Samsung / Pixel / other brands: menus may say “Special app access,” “Install unknown apps,” or “Restricted settings.” The idea is the same: allow the app that opened the APK (Chrome or Files) to install packages, then install StatusNearMe only from this site.
